Dr. Heather and Dr. Troy are both certified from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to care for children of all ages. The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association believes in, "Gentle "hands on" adjustments for fine tuning spines of all ages."

When I was 7 I had a leg problem. My leg had gotten hurt somehow. When I visited Dr. Heather and Dr. Troy they told me some ways to help my leg like “put some ice on it” so I did that. When I came back the next time they used the activator. I was scared about my leg. They helped me a lot. When I come back here every time I am happy. Without chiropractic my life would be in crutches and pain. I am so thankful!

I enjoy going to the chiropractor because they help me stay healthy. They adjust my spine to keep my body straight. They told me high fructose corn syrup is bad. They also told me vegetable oil is a bad fat. When they adjust my spine it helps my body work right. I have been a whole lot healthier since we began coming to Advanced Wellness Center.

Since coming to Advanced Wellness Center, Isaac has developed a sharp awareness of his body and its changes. He can often tell us exactly what is wrong, where it hurts, and whether certain joints feel "crunchy." Sometimes he just comes right out and says that he needs to get adjusted! Isaac has gained an understanding of how chiropractic helps him and us (his parents), and always enjoys his visits to Dr. Troy and Dr. Heather. He is excelling in school, and has very little trouble focusing on tasks or learning activities. We are so thankful that we decided to have Isaac join us in our care at Advanced Wellness. We hope that these practices now will carry over into his adult life!

Adam came into this world a little unexpectedly. Due to complications, Adam was born via C-section a couple of weeks early. During the 1^st week of life, Adam displayed breathing problems. Adam had very rapid breathing, but at times he also gasped for breath. The Pediatrician initially said that many babies breath rapidly before eating or just after eating because they are so excited. Six weeks later, Adam was still breathing quite rapidly. He also spit up constantly and liked turning his head to the right side. The Pediatrician became very concerned at this point. Thinking that the rapid breathing was a sure sign of heart problems, Adam was sent for a chest x-ray and blood work. The chest x-ray showed his heart to be normal size. Next, he was sent for a CT scan of his head. Then he was sent for an ultrasound of his heart. Again, the tests showed Adam was okay. Adam then visited a neurologist and an oncologist, both of whom stated Adam was okay despite the rapid breathing. As his parents, we were quite concerned that something was wrong with our child, but we didn't know what else to do. We had been to many doctors who all said our child seemed fine. Then we got an answer from Advanced Wellness Center. Adam's Great Aunt was watching him and had to go to her Chiropractic appointment at Advanced Wellness Center and she took Adam along. As Adam slept in his car seat, Dr. Troy noticed that Adam was not breathing well and stated that he could help. He was pretty sure Adam's Vagus nerve was getting pinched by the Atlas vertebrae which was causing Adam's diaphragm to be too high. We talked to Dr. Troy and brought Adam in for his 1^st adjustment that night. After a couple of weeks of adjustments by Dr. Troy and Dr. Heather, Adam's breathing and head movement improved and at his 6 month check up, the Pediatrician was impressed with what he saw. Adam has the great staff at Advanced Wellness to thank for all they have done for him.

Hi, my name is Brock Rumbaugh and I am a chiropractic success because… I play for the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets. Because I play hockey I have many problems with my body. But when I leave the Advanced Wellness Center I know I’m going to be fine! For example, I got cross-checked in the neck with a hockey stick. When I came in Dr. Troy noticed that my C3 had been pushed out of place. If he hadn’t picked up on that I could’ve had chronic pain for the rest of my life. I love to come here. It has definitely changed my family’s life and me.
